Can I visit the University to see where my child will be studying?

Home / Help and advice / Info for parents and supporters / Student life / Can I visit Uni to see where my child will study?

Yes. There are several options that you can choose from to visit the University.

Open Days and Tours

You can accompany your child to an Open Day, and book a Campus Tour where you and up to four of your friends and family can get a personalised tour of the campuses, view a room in our halls of residence, and talk to academic staff who can tell you more about the subject your child is interested in studying.

UCAS Fair

If you or your child can't travel to an Open Day at Sunderland, you can meet us at your local UCAS Fair instead. Find the University of Sunderland stand to pick up a prospectus and to ask us any questions you might have about studying with us.

Virtual Open Day

In case you or your child just can't wait to see what life at Sunderland is like, you can take our Virtual Open Day to find out more about who and where we are, see our impressive facilities, and learn more about what it might be like to study the subject your child is most interested in.
