How can I get around in Sunderland?

There are various transport options between our accommodation and the campuses.

The Students’ Union campus bus service, and the local 700 bus service will both operate. You will need to wear a face covering while on the bus and the capacity may be reduced on these services, but we will provide additional minibuses to meet demand if needed.

The 700 bus service runs between our City Campus and the Sir Tom Cowie Campus at St Peter’s riverside, as well as some of our University accommodation. The 700 is operating like all our city buses to keep everyone safe. This means far fewer passengers allowed on board at any one time, safe distance markings on the floor and the driver protected by a screen.
