Vaccination against Covid-19 is not currently a mandatory requirement. However, placement providers may have different approaches about the vaccination status of their staff and students on placement.
Vaccination provides the best protection for individuals therefore, all students studying a health or social care course, that has a placement within the NHS or any other Care Quality Commission establishment, are strongly encouraged to be vaccinated against Covid-19.
