Translational research

As a partner in Fuse, the Centre for Translational Research in Public Health, we have an emphasis on not only putting evidence into practice, but in also researching how best to do this. Current research centres on how NHS managers utilise research in their everyday decision making and the influence of organisational leadership in the implementation of strategies for health improvement.

We also have a strong sub-theme of work that considers the role of professions, and professional identity, in supporting or hindering knowledge translation in multi-disciplinary working and learning environments
