Primary2Uni is an inspirational suite of activities to engage pupils from Early Years* onwards. We aim to raise aspirations and attainment, while providing your pupils with an insight into higher education. Primary2Uni sessions are built around your requirements and can include team-building workshops and interactive activities. All sessions are linked to higher education as well as our degree courses. Sessions are also aligned to the Key Stage 2 National Curriculum, NERUPI framework and Gatsby Benchmarks. Some of the sessions we currently offer digitally include:
As a global University we enjoy the diverse range of cultures and traditions our students bring to campus. We have students who come from, or have travelled all over the world and many of them love the opportunity to talk about life in other countries. Our students are able to teach pupils elements of other languages, traditional songs, basic counting and culture.
Pupils will explore the role of doctors and other healthcare professionals. By delving inside the doctor’s bag, pupils will find out more about the different types of equipment that doctors and other healthcare professionals use. Pupils will also look at the uses and implications of science, today and for the future.
Degree or no Degree
What is a degree? Pupils will participate in this interactive presentation, learning which careers need a degree and which don’t. They will also explore key skills such as teamwork, communication and problem solving. This session gives pupils the opportunity to consider their own career aspirations.
