Study diseases caused by abnormalities of the bone marrow or blood cells (including anaemia, malignancies and bleeding disorders), as well as the safe preparation of blood products and the indications and management of their therapeutic use. Undertake a practical approach alongside case-based learning to evaluate the laboratory procedures used for haematological investigation and transfusion science in relevant areas of clinical practice. Interpret clinical and laboratory data obtained from routine and specialist methods to diagnose haematological disease.
