This course focuses on mentoring those apprentices studying in the workplace.
Workplace mentors play a crucial role in the success of their mentees. Mentoring is a challenging role, demanding a variety of skills and the ability to manage behaviours of yourself and others very effectively. This course will develop your ability as a work-based mentor to effectively support your work-based apprentices in the successful completion of their degree apprenticeship.
Developing supportive relationships and awareness of the potential of learners are important elements of the course. You will adopt a strengths-based philosophy, as the development and maintenance of a supportive organisational culture is fundamental to the approach.
