If your home university is not listed as one of our exchange partners you can still study with us for one or two semesters.

The University of Sunderland offers a broad range of subjects across four academic faculties.

You can mix and match modules to satisfy your home institution's requirements (subject to pre-requisites).

What is a module?

Classes at the University of Sunderland are called modules. You are required to take 60 credits per semester or 120 credits per academic year.

Finding modules/classes

Step 1

Please email to discuss which modules are available to study, as well as any restrictions or pre-requisites. You should choose as many options as possible, but you will only be enrolled on 60 credits per semester that you are here.
