Artists Access to Art Colleges AA2A Artist Placements at the University of Sunderland provides placements for visual artists and designer makers. The University offers an opportunity to undertake a period of research or realise a project, using their outstanding workshops and facilities.

Residencies in glass are arranged on an individual basis through various schemes. Artists work on their own projects, using the outstanding facilities provided by the University. The residency may culminate in an exhibition to present the resulting work.
