We’re delighted to invite Year 12 students to our ‘Understanding the Brain’ event.
The day will begin with a lecture called ‘Welcome to Your Brain.’ This will introduce students to neuroscience via a tour of the brain, taking them for a lobe-by-lobe journey to explore how different areas contribute towards our cognition and behaviour. Plus, our passionate lecturers will break some myths surrounding the brain during the session.
Following the lecture students will take part in workshops including:
- Building the Brain
- Seeing is Believing
- Eye-Witnessed It
The sessions will be delivered by our expert academics, who all have their own specialist areas and passions.
