Dentistry Events (Apprenticeships and CPD)

Explore our programme of dentistry events for employers, dental professionals and those looking to develop their careers. Choose the event that matches the apprenticeship or professional development route you’re interested in.

Current employer sessions introduce two distinct apprenticeship routes:

Dental Laboratory Technician Apprenticeship

Discover how our new accelerated apprenticeship can help dental laboratories recruit and develop skilled technicians. The session will cover the course structure, skills gained, employer funding and how to recruit a new apprentice or enrol an existing employee.

Dental Hygiene Apprenticeship

Find out how this apprenticeship can help practices develop dental hygiene professionals, strengthen preventive care and create progression opportunities within the wider dental team. The session will explore course delivery, clinical and professional skills, funding and how to get started.

Our wider programme of dentistry events will also include opportunities to:

• Explore apprenticeship and CPD courses
• Hear from dental professionals and academic experts
• Develop skills and knowledge
• Support workforce development
• Learn about new routes into the dentistry professions.
