About the test
The ELPT is designed exclusively for University of Sunderland applicants. Benchmarked against IELTS, it assesses all four core skill areas – Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking – and is tailored to reflect the academic demands of your chosen course.
A pass means you've met our English language entry requirement.
Please note: ELPT results are for University of Sunderland admissions purposes only and are not transferable to other institutions.
