Sunderland AFC is delighted to announce a new multi-year partnership with the University of Sunderland.
The announcement will see the two organisations work closely together, with the University becoming the Club's official Higher Education Partner.
Building on the University’s involvement in Made in Sunderland week during the 2025-26 season, the partnership will see it play an active role across a variety of themed weeks throughout the campaign and beyond.
These initiatives will provide opportunities for students to engage with the club and its wider community.
Sunderland AFC Chief Commercial Officer Scott McCubbin said: "The University of Sunderland is an important part of the fabric of our city, and we’re delighted to formalise our relationship through this multi-year partnership.
"Having already worked together during Made in Sunderland week last season, we’ve seen the value of bringing our organisations and communities together.
