The latest edition of the ranking features 958 institutions across 42 locations, including 129 in the UK
The University of Sunderland has been named as one of the top 10 universities in Europe for international student diversity.
Also ranking third in the UK in the same category, the latest results were revealed in the QS World University Rankings: Europe 2026.
Global higher education analyst QS Quacquarelli Symonds has today released its 2026 Europe-wide ranking, the only significant regional ranking of European universities, seeing Sunderland ranked overall in the 531-540 range.
The University also ranks 58th in the UK in the Academic Reputation category.
