“All of the displays and stalls will be amazing"
LEGO fans from across the north-east are set to flock to the University of Sunderland this summer.
The University will be playing host to the annual LEGO Brick Festival, hosted in the CitySpace building, off Chester Road in the City.
Fans will get the chance to enjoy a day of play, trading and LEGO fun.
This is the second time the event has been held at the University, with last year's gathering attracting hundreds of visitors.
Following last year's LEGO extravanagza, Ruth Brown, Student Support Manager at the University, said "We had loads of fun, the kids loved the huge models and the area full of bricks where they spent ages building.”
The day will include something for every LEGO fan out there, from stalls for play, chatting with fellow fans, and exploring trading in rare collections, bricks, sets, or minifigures.
Ruth added: “All of the displays and stalls were amazing with plenty of different things to buy, from cups of mixed loose bricks to rare and retired sets. The minifig tombola was great fun too.”
The event will also host creating competitions, creative mosaic-making rounds, minifigure hunts and more
