Study in your own country. Develop a mastery of international business contexts and start a global career in management. Graduate as an in-demand candidate with international appeal.
Do you want to progress your career in international business and management?
This course will strengthen your critical understanding of international business, trade and strategy.
You will explore international trade, strategy, strategic foresight, leadership skills, business analytics, marketing management and cross cultural management. You will also be guided in your final piece of work; a dissertation on an international business management topic of your choosing.
Please contact the Study Centre for the duration and mode of this course.
A range of teaching and learning methods including lectures, seminars and group work will be used to encourage you to develop intellectual and cognitive skills. You will learn via interactive sessions, research and directed private study.
Case study-based learning is employed throughout the course and is intended to enable you to develop the ability to identify the issues in need of research, apply subject specific knowledge to a realistic and/or practical context, make critical judgments and present and make reasoned choices between alternative solutions.
The case studies may take the form of real cases or issues in debate at any given moment in time or may be hypothetical problems which are reflective of realistic problems.
Compared to an undergraduate course, you will find that this Masters course requires a higher level of independent reading and research.
