Course summary

The BA (Hons) Advertising and Design course covers core practice-based modules that include developing advertising campaigns, computer skills, creative portfolios, branding, and identity. The knowledge and skills you'll gain will put you on a fast track to a rewarding career in advertising and design.

This is a hands-on degree and you'll be encouraged to work in pairs, as this is how the industry recruits. Forging relationships during the course is great preparation for the workplace and helps to maximise creativity.

During your final year, you'll develop a Professional Engagement Document which highlights all your self-development activities and engagement with industry, as well as other factors that will give you an edge compared to other graduates.

The course is industry-recognised and industry-focused. Graduates have gone on to work in top advertising agencies around the world such as Weiden and Kennedy, Inferno, Glue, Rapp, and Iris Worldwide in London, as well as JWT and Y&R in Singapore and Athens, and DDB Tribal in Finland.
