Course summary

Explore every aspect of the fashion industry by studying the BA (Hons) Fashion Product and Promotion course – from concept development and design to garment construction, branding, and event management.

You’ll build a broad creative skill set in fashion design, illustration, textiles, photography, graphic design, and product development, all with a strong focus on fashion. With the support of our industry experts, you’ll develop your own brand and discover your individual specialism.

We’ll help you gain valuable industry experience through work placements, university-led initiatives, and professional development boot camps. In your second year, you’ll plan and deliver your own fashion event – managing everything from venue and music to marketing, models, and garment creation.

You’ll also have opportunities to enter competitions and showcase your work at exhibitions, including your final-year degree show, which is attended by industry professionals.

Graduates go on to careers in fashion design, brand development, publishing, production, PR, retail, and design consultancy. Final projects have ranged from fashion collections and magazines to homeware lines, marketing campaigns, and seasonal portfolios for major high street brands.
