Top-up your existing qualification to a full honours degree from Sunderland while living in your own country. Learn how to design, build and deploy apps for Android and iOS devices.

Human Computer Interaction (HCI) and User Experience Design (UXD) inform the course. HCI and UXD research has impact wherever digital technologies are in use at a personal level. This includes education, domestic activity, exercise, and promoting secure online behaviours in users. You'll learn about and use Xcode, Swift, Android Studio, Cisco OS, Wireshark, and Asterisk to build an interactive and dynamic mobile app.

How you'll learn

A typical week will include interactive lectures, tutorials, seminars, and lab-based practicals. You'll also learn through group problem solving sessions, case studies, and guest expert lectures. You'll use the University’s virtual learning environment for group activities, discussions, assignments, and links to resources.

Assessment methods include coursework and exams. As well as assessments that count towards your degree, there are also on-going assessments for feedback and consolidating your learning.
