At our First Choice summer school, all students will be given a personalised timetable which includes subject-specific workshops, activities with numerous university teams and services and fun evening social activities.
Please note, some subject sessions may require a minimum number of participants to run. If the required number of participants is not met, students may be asked to attend another suitable subject session. Wherever possible, the University will look to accommodate everybody.
Summer School 2026 will take place from Wednesday 1 July to Friday 3 July.

Students will receive an invite to Summer School via email once they have completed a skills session either at their school or college, on campus or online. This email will include all the relevant Summer School information and an online form where students must register their attendance in advance. The form will require information from the student and appropriate consent from both the student and their parent/supporter.
If students think they are eligible but have not received their invitation or if they have any other questions, they can get in touch with our First Choice team(opens in new tab) who will be happy to help.
