Upcoming outreach opportunities
We're now providing opportunities for more schools that meet our targeting criteria. This will enable a wider range of pupils to enjoy our outreach activities. This includes local state schools with a high proportion of pupils eligible for free school meals.

Destination Uni
Destination Uni introduces university through a range of assemblies, workshops, and interactive sessions. We design these activities to support informed choices. They also provide an insight into university and graduate careers.
STEMM outreach
We offer Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics and Medicine (STEMM) outreach activities. They introduce pupils in Years 7-11 to graduate careers in these fields.
North East Raising Aspiration Partnership (NERAP)
NERAP is a partnership of five universities in the north-east of England. The partnership aims to improve progression to higher education. Also, it supports young people to make informed choices about their future.
We work with key partners to deliver outreach activities where we can add the most value. We create targeted support for students who are underrepresented in higher education.
Each university offers a range of activities to support decision-making. Together, we deliver joint activities for primary and secondary students. We also provide targeted support for specific groups.
The partnership also provides events for teachers, advisers, parents, and carers. These help support the advice and guidance given to young people across the region.
Uni Connect
All north-east universities and colleges are working together. This is part of the Office for Students' funded Uni Connect programme. The aim is to increase progression to higher education. Also, we provide impartial information and support to young people, parents, teachers, and advisers.
This is delivered in target schools across the region to students in years 9–13. It complements our own programme of activities.
