About Dr Akoche Ejeh

I am a dedicated Lecturer in Business and Management. I bring a wealth of experience in delivering and leading modules at postgraduate level. My expertise encompasses MBA Research Methods, International Business in Context, Strategic Leadership and Collaboration, and Business Continuity and Resilience.

I am passionate about empowering students through rigorous research methodologies, fostering lifelong learning, and nurturing their academic and professional development.

I have successfully led and delivered the MBA Research Methods and International Business in Context modules, demonstrating strong pedagogical skills and a commitment to student success. My teaching philosophy emphasises practical application and critical thinking, ensuring students are well-equipped to navigate the complexities of the modern business world.

My academic journey includes:

  • Lecturer in Business and Management, University of Sunderland (2023–Present): Focused on delivering and leading modules in MBA Research Methods, International Business in Context, Strategic Leadership and Collaboration, and Business Continuity and Resilience.
  • Lecturer in Research Methods, Cambridge Group of Schools (On Campus): Specialised in teaching research methodologies, laying a strong foundation for students' academic pursuits.

Beyond my teaching responsibilities, I possess strong strategic leadership skills, demonstrated through module leadership and curriculum development. I am also committed to mentoring students, guiding them through their academic and professional journeys.

My experience as a Project Coordinator with the Federal Capital Territory of Abuja, Nigeria, prior to relocating to the UK, has provided me with valuable insights into project management and organisational dynamics.

My commitment to research methods extends beyond the classroom. I believe that a solid understanding of research principles is crucial for students to become effective leaders and decision-makers. I strive to create engaging and impactful learning experiences that not only meet academic requirements but also inspire a lifelong passion for learning and discovery.
