About Dr Angie Wilcock
My professional background has been in front-line service provision, working with the most vulnerable people. This includes working with statutory and third-sector organisations in social housing, homeless projects, community offender management, and family support within HMPPS.
I am a Senior Lecturer and Programme Leader for BSc (Hons) Criminology, where I embed my professional, research, and academic knowledge and experience into my teaching.
I am passionate about the inequalities experienced by women and marginalised groups. This underpins my research interests: violence against women, domestic violence, gender and inequalities within the CJS, offender management, emotionality in research and practice, and feminist research methodologies.
