About Anne Edwards
With prior experience in supervisory and management roles in the private sector, my teaching career has been in post-compulsory education. I have considerable experience of teaching a range of professional and business provisions, including graduate and postgraduate courses.
I joined the University as a member of the Senior Management Team at the Centre for Independent and Combined Programmes and undertook a diverse range of responsibilities, including module and programme development, programme leader for the Combined and Joint Honours’ schemes, teaching and membership of a number of cross-institutional teams.
Since joining the Business School, I have taught a range of undergraduate and postgraduate modules and courses. I currently lead the BA (Hons) Business and Marketing Management (Stage 3).
I am also the current Centre Leader for SBCS in Trinidad.
Teaching and supervision
My teaching is based in the undergraduate and postgraduate marketing discipline. I am Programme Leader for BA (Hons) Business and Marketing Management (Stage 3) which runs on-campus and at some of our TNE partner institutions.
I am currently module leader (on and off-campus) for UGB266 Marketing Management and Metrics and UGB327 Strategic Integrated Marketing Communications at undergraduate level, and PGBM56 Global Integrated Marketing Communications at postgraduate level.
I also teach other marketing modules and supervise undergraduate and postgraduate dissertations.
Research
My research interests are in marketing and relate to marketing communications and corporate social responsibility. I am currently registered for a PhD in which I am exploring the use of cause-related marketing alliances by UK charities.
