About Ayesha Marshall
I've been a qualified Registered Nurse since 1995 and have worked in specialities including surgical nursing clinical trials and safeguarding. For the past 20 years I've specialised in tissue viability, which included caring for patients with complex wounds, education programmes, and leading the service. I've worked extensively in primary and secondary care
My main clinical focus is the care of people with wounds and preventing pressure ulcers.
I'm also a freelance author and have written for nursing journals.
Teaching and supervision
I'm an Honorary Lecturer on the Postgraduate Certificate in Tissue Viability short course. My interests lie in supporting people with wounds, as well as their carers and families. I have a specialist interest in training and education for staff in relation to caring for patients with complex wounds.
