About Claire Fox

I’m the Principal Lecturer for Learning and Teaching for Undergraduate Nursing (Adult, Child and Mental Health). I have expertise in undergraduate nursing education development and delivery.

I qualified as a nurse in 2001 while in the British Army. During this time, I worked in several hospitals in the UK and served in active service.

I have worked in various settings, including trauma and orthopaedics, surgical emergency admissions, MAU and ENT.

I specialised in Trauma and Orthopaedics in 2004 and worked in various roles in this speciality.
Other roles have included Practice Placement Facilitator, Practice Development, Project Manager, Nurse Specialist and Medical Education Programme Manager.

I joined the University as a Senior Lecturer and Clinical Link Tutor in 2017.
