Georgios Chnarakis

With over 15 years of experience in private and public sector organisations in Greece, Australia, and the UK, I bring a wealth of experience from various industries.

I am accredited by CMI and CIPD and hold three business management and HR degrees from the University of Sunderland. I have also studied in Greece, Australia, the USA, and the UK, which allows me to bring a diverse perspective on students' needs and how to best support a varied student population.

I am an Academic Tutor, supervising dissertations and collaborating with academics and support services. I am here to help students reach their full potential by providing tailored support through targeted interventions, meetings, and action plans to foster students' personal and academic growth.

Prior to this, I was the President: Education at the Sunderland Students' Union, focusing on teaching, assessment, feedback and timetabling. During this time, I introduced Studiosity, an academic feedback and study support service which complements the University's Study Skills Team.

My interests include data management and accuracy. I strive to create or improve systems and processes to increase efficiency, productivity and attainment of personal and organisational goals and objectives. I am also passionate about HR and am committed to making a positive difference in the lives of others.
