About Helen McAdam
I am a Senior Lecturer and Admissions Tutor for BSc (Hons) Paramedic Science and Out of Hospital Care. I am a Registered Nurse and Midwife with over 25 years of experience in clinical practice around the UK and across the world. I worked for the North East Ambulance Service for five years as a subject matter expert and clinical educator for maternity and paediatric care.

I am currently part of studies that are involved with reducing the prevalence of hypothermia in newborns, particularly focused on birth outside of hospital.
