About Dr Joan Oshiegbu-Iyamu
I joined the University in 2023 as a Lecturer in Business and Management, specialising in international business strategy, sustainability, and corporate social responsibility actions of multinationals.
I hold a doctorate in environmental accountability and stakeholders' engagement practices of the oil and gas industry in the context of developing countries from the University of Sunderland. I also hold a master's in business information technology from Northumbria University.
Prior to joining the University, I worked in both the government and academic sectors, working in government agencies in Nigeria and in the UK. I also have several years of experience in higher education in mentoring students and ensuring their progression.
