About Dr Linda Graham

I joined the University of Sunderland in November 2018, as a Senior Lecturer on BA (Hons) Childhood Studies. I was awarded Senior Fellow status in Higher Education Academy (HEA).

I teach undergraduate modules relating to representations of childhood, inclusion, values and ethics, childhood from global perspectives, research methodologies and methods.

My research interests include pedagogic practice in higher education, academic literacy, assessment for learning, student engagement, children's voices, children's reading in educational settings, (with a particular focus on reading for pleasure), visual literacy, and participatory research.
