Lisa Hadwin

I teach undergraduate students across a range of Social Media Management and Public Relations subjects. This includes those in their Integrated Foundation Year for journalism, media, and communications programmes.

My personal areas of interest include public relations ethics and stakeholder management.

Before teaching, I worked as an in-house PR practitioner in the government, heritage, and tourism sectors. This experience has strongly influenced my academic perspective, particularly the importance of demonstrating how academic theory and research not only develops PR as an academic discipline but also strengthens a graduate's PR practice.

I have an MSc in Corporate Communications, a Post-Graduate Certificate in Higher Education, and am a Fellow of Advanced HE.
