About Neal Lennox
I started working for the University in 2013 and have developed and led numerous modules across a range of courses. Previous roles have included programme leader for BA (Hons) Business and Financial Management and BA (Hons) Banking and Finance Top-Up, and I am currently centre leader for our partners in Vietnam and Myanmar.
Prior to working in higher education, I was an assistant manager in a specialist unit of a universal bank tasked to protect bank assets in distressed debt situations. I gained experience of numerous industry sectors and worked closely with internal and external partners to formulate action plans and monitor progress of agreed strategies.
Teaching and supervision
My teaching is based within the undergraduate Business and Finance subject discipline. At present, my main responsibilities are module and centre leadership. I am the module leader for:
- MGT104: Fundamentals of financial decision-making
- MGT206: Finance and financial decision-making for managers (Sage Ltd affiliated)
- APC312: Money, banking and finance
- UGB322: International banking
In my role as Centre Liaison Leader, I work with our partner universities in Vietnam and Myanmar on a range of activities including administration, recruitment, and teaching activities.
Interests
I am a PhD student studying how the banking and finance industry supports business. This stems from my business experience where client relationships, monitoring and provision management were important aspects of my job.
