About Rob Tyer
I am currently a Senior Lecturer in Physiotherapy.
My background is in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy (MSK) with my most recent clinical post being a clinical lead for a large provider of regional MSK services. Previous roles have included first contact practice (pre-portfolio route), advanced practice physiotherapist as a generalist, research/CPD lead, and private practice.
I have nine years of experience working in sport, mainly with Rugby League/Union, combat sports, strongman athletes, and runners.
I am also the co-founder of the North East Musculoskeletal Society, set up to provide high-quality CPD in the region.
