Dr Yashar Salamzadeh

I'm a PhD scholar, Senior Lecturer in Digital Business, and MBA Programme Leader (PgCert).

As a research-active academic, I've published more than 150 academic papers in high-quality journals and conferences. I'm also helping more than 45 journals as a member of their editorial board or review board. Having 14 years of experience working with MBA and other postgraduate students, I've supervised around 80 master's and MBA students and have graduated seven doctorate students.

I have considerable experience in developing new courses for MBA students (as an example, I developed a new MBA specialisation in digital leadership at USM, Malaysia, and a new module for MBA students here at the University of Sunderland).

Having nine years of business consultancy experience in different types of companies ranging from family businesses to MNCs, I try to link what I've learned from the business ecosystem and what my students need to learn in class.
