Understanding your audience, their pain and pleasure points, your own goals, how audio production / podcasting fits into your KPIs, and building your brand.

Storytelling and Structure

Tips and tricks to master the building blocks of audio storytelling: We will cover scripting, interviewing, and conversation facilitation, that can help your podcast stand out from the crowd.

Recording Tech, Microphones, and Equipment – from Low-Budget to Pro

We’ll discuss some of the potential setups for recording your podcast, to suit a range of budgets.

Basic Editing in Adobe Audition

An overview of the building blocks of your editing toolkit: How to cut, fade, cross-fade, adjust levels, panning, utilise effects and filters, restructure your content, and how to sculpt using music, audio branding, and sound effects.

Marketing, Branding, and Visualising Your Audio

We’ll explore use of trailers, logos, graphics, audiograms, content marketing, and other tools and techniques to build the world around your podcast brand.

An Overview of Hosting Platform Options

Once you have created your podcast, how will you distribute it? With a range of options available, we will explore some of the key hosting platforms you could consider.
