Course summary

This masterclass will help you understand how to respond to patient safety incidents. You'll gain the knowledge and skills to use a systems-based approach. This includes methods such as after-action reviews and debriefs. You'll also take part in discussions around planning and monitoring improvements.

The course aligns with the Patient Safety Incident Response Framework (PSIRF). The PSIRF takes a new approach to incidents, allowing open review without fear of blame. It also supports those affected while helping to improve services.
