Are you looking for a course to develop your healthcare career? The BSc (Hons) Professional Practice is for registered nurses and allied health professionals. It offers a route to gain an undergraduate degree while continuing your professional development (CPD).
Why Sunderland for Short courses and CPDThe course modules are from our CPD portfolio and module catalogue. This allows you to gain university credits.
One of the core modules is 'Independent Study in Higher Education'. Everyone must complete this as part of the course.
We deliver teaching both face-to-face and online. This is through a blend of learning approaches.
The course recognises Accreditation of Prior Achievement (APA). You can use up to 240 credits from a diploma or advanced diploma in higher education.
If you've already studied at the University as part of your CPD, you may be able to claim Accreditation of Prior Learning (APL). This can be up to 60 credits. The Programme Leader will review this and recommend the best pathway for you to complete your degree.
You can also apply if you've completed a diploma or advanced diploma in higher education. This should be in nursing or another recognised professional programme, with up to 240 credits.
