We base the sessions around our Five Foundation Concepts. These link to the Teachers’ Standards. You'll take part in live, online sessions to engage with staff. They'll provide interesting insights into teaching and share their passion with you.

What you'll study

The course covers the responsibilities of a teacher. Completing short tasks will help you reflect on what you see in a school context.

In the final session, you'll find out more about our wide range of PGCE courses and their flexibility. During a one-to-one tutorial, you'll discuss your thoughts on a career in teaching. Tutors will offer support around how to prepare for a PGCE interview.

How you'll learn

The course runs for 12 weeks with a one-hour session each week. There are six recorded sessions and six live sessions. You'll also have a one-hour tutorial.
