Induction timetable
Once you’ve completed your online enrolment, your induction timetable will be available through the What Next? Checklist on e:Vision. You'll be able to see a ‘View my induction timetable’ option with details on where and when each of your sessions will be held, along with a description and any further information.
During your induction, you may have a variety of on-campus, off-campus and online classes:
- On-campus - You'll get the campus, building and room number.
- Off-campus - You'll be given the address and postcode of the session, including any important instructions. For example, in some cases, you may have a field trip within welcome week.
- Online - You'll be given a link to the online session, along with any specific instructions on how to engage online. The majority of online events will be held through Canvas, our virtual learning environment.
Academic timetable
Once your induction timetable finishes, you'll access your academic timetable through the My Timetable portal, which you will log in to using your University User ID and password, this will have been sent to you after you enrolled. The "My timetable" is what you will use to access your tailored timetable.
Typically this will be available 3 days after you've completed all parts of your enrolment.
You may be able to log in to MyTimetable before your timetable is released – if this is the case you’ll see a message to say your timetable is not yet available – this is normal.
When you log in you’ll be able to see a calendar of all your sessions and this will automatically default to a monthly view. Each class will have it’s own block and will show the time, module code, title, module leader, building and room, and academic week number.
