Esports facilities

Our Esports Simulation Suite supports both competitive and casual gaming. You can test event ideas, develop strategies, or host games. The suite gives you access to industry-standard platforms and high-spec equipment. It has 10GB bandwidth for smooth play, streaming, and event simulations.

Dynamic lighting helps set the mood and you can adjust it for different games or events. This creates an immersive space that improves the player experience. It also supports the creative and theoretical learning in our esports courses.

North East Hotels Association (NEHA)

We’ve started the Hospitality Mentor Programme with the North East Hotels Association (NEHA). It connects our Events Management students with experienced hoteliers from top hotels. This is a great way to build your network. You’ll learn from professionals with successful careers. You’ll also see the different career paths and decide which direction you want to take.

Following graduation, I started a temporary position as Events Administrator at Isuzu UK, and within three months, I was made a permanent member of staff and progressed to Events Coordinator. I've since been promoted to my current position as Events and PR Executive.
