Course summary

If you want a career in accounting or finance, this course will help you succeed. When you graduate, you can gain exemptions from key professional bodies including the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), and the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW). This gives you a strong head start towards becoming a qualified accountant.

You'll study modules based on real business scenarios. Topics include taxation, law, auditing, and core accounting and finance principles. The course is designed with employers, so what you learn matches industry needs and improves your job prospects.

You'll also hear from guest speakers and attend events. Industry leaders like CEOs from Castrol, Global Blackswan, and ONYX regularly share their insights, giving you a glimpse of the roles you could hold in the future. Outside of the classroom, you can join the Business Society. This gives you chances to visit companies, attend events, and build connections.

Many graduates go on to become financial or management accountants. Some work with many clients, while others work within one organisation. Past students have secured roles at leading global companies like Facebook and Adidas.
