What are my tuition fees?

Your tuition fees pay for the cost of your teaching and learning resources. They also contribute to facilities and student services that support your student experience. Tuition fees vary depending on your course and fee status.

Fee increases

Undergraduate fees are set according to rules from Government in line with forecast inflation. If you're a Home fee-paying student, the fee for your first year of study for 2026/27 will be £9,790. You'll pay tuition fees for every year of study. Fees may increase every year based on the Retail Price Index.

Postgraduate taught courses

Tuition fees for postgraduate taught courses vary depending on the course you're studying. This is because some courses are classroom-based whereas others use specialist facilities.

For home students, fees range from £8,500–£9,500, while international student fees are £16,500–£19,000 (2026/27).

Your exact fee will be confirmed in your chosen course offer letter.
