About Eddie Bradley
I'm a Senior Lecturer in Biomechanics with a background in clinical biomechanics of the hip (PhD). Currently, I'm Programme Leader for the BSc (Hons) Sport and Exercise Sciences course. I have a keen interest in sport and I'm the sports scientist with an elite level women's rugby union team.

I'm Programme Leader for the BSc (Hons) Sport and Exercise Sciences course.
My main focus is on sport and exercise biomechanics across the undergraduate and postgraduate sport courses and I'm currently module leader for:
- Sport and Exercise Biomechanics 1
- Applied Sport and Exercise Biomechanics
- Independent Learning Module.
I also teach on the following modules:
- Biomechanics (Levels 4, 5, 6, and 7)
- Performance Analysis (Level 5)
- Personal, Professional Development (Level 4)
- Research Project Supervision (Level 6 and 7, plus PhD supervision).
Interests
- Player demands in team sports, focusing on GPS and microsensor devices, session RPE workload and physical tests
- Biomechanics in rugby union
- Understanding the diabetic foot
- Implementation of marking rubrics and student perceptions.
Research
I have an interest in rugby union, focusing on elite women's rugby. My research involves examining the match demands and physical capabilities of the players and how this affects success. I am also interested in the effect of diabetes on lower limb mechanics.
