About Ian Evans
Before joining the University of Sunderland, I taught on a BSc (Hons) Games Technology course at another institution for nearly 11 and a half years, partly serving as its Deputy Course Director and Course Director during that time.
My previous teaching focuses included module leadership of game physics, game graphics, game networking, C++ programming, and VR/AR usage for games. I also supported a range of modules both in the games and computer science fields, such as programming and algorithms, usability, game AI, and concept development.
I'm currently Programme Leader for, and teach on, the BSc (Hons) Game Development course.
