About Kudzanai Munongi
I began my academic journey at the University in 2009 as an Academic Tutor. At the same time, I completed my PGCE in Mathematics Education here in 2010. I taught secondary and further education, including Special Needs Schools and Behavioural Units, where I honed my teaching approaches.
In 2015, I was appointed as a Lecturer in Finance and Accounting.
This background of extensive pedagogical experience led to innovative approaches to learning that effectively support all types of learners in their educational pursuits. I have developed and taught a range of accounting and finance-based modules that are embedded across different courses. This includes but is not limited to Financial Governance, International Financial Reporting, Auditing, and Management and Financial Accounting, among others. Currently, I am Deputy Programme Leader for BA (Hons) Accounting and Finance (with Professional Exemptions).
In 2021, I received the University's Most Inspirational Teacher Award for my dedication and innovative teaching methods that positively impacted students
