About Marie Todd
I joined the Primary Education team in 2023 as a Lecturer.
Previously, I was a primary school teacher for 20 years and a deputy head teacher for the last four of those. I taught across the entire primary range with a specialism in Upper Key Stage Two.
Throughout my career, I was subject lead for a number of subjects, including science, PE and English. The teaching and leading of grammar, reading and writing in the primary classroom was a passion of my classroom practice and one which I enjoy sharing with students.
In my current role, I lecture across undergraduate and postgraduate courses in a wide range of subjects, including professional learning. I undertake teaching, marking, and supporting students with their school experience modules across various courses.
