About Nicola Welsh
With over 20 years of experience as a primary school teacher, I now work as a lecturer. I enjoy supporting students and helping them to become reflective and confident early career teachers.
I am passionate about teaching English – both its importance within education and as a life skill. Supporting and encouraging pupils to develop a love of reading and writing has always been a goal of mine in the classroom. I also enjoy mentoring and coaching students. I have recent and relevant knowledge of the primary curriculum, with a particular focus on English, including the latest Ofsted requirements and policy.
