About Rachel Elliott
I am a Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) registered Biomedical Scientist (BMS) with over 16 years of experience working in laboratory diagnostics for the NHS.
My previous role was with South Tees NHS Hospitals Foundation Trust as a Lead BMS in Virology where I continue my professional practise to date.
My experience and knowledge lie within the field of virology, in particular serology and molecular diagnostics.

I am the module leader for work placement modules HCS230 and HCS331.
Research
My research experience lies within molecular diagnostics for detection of viral respiratory pathogens.
