About Zach Leggett
I'm a Senior Lecturer in Law with interests in criminal law and international criminal law.
My research looks at the way marginalised groups are treated under the legal system with a focus on critical discourse analysis.

Interests
My research interests are based on criminal law, criminal justice, and feminist legal theory, with a particular focus on the regulation of sex work. I also have an interest in international criminal law, with a focus on transnational justice in conflict and post conflict societies.
Research
My research is on the regulation of sex work with a particular focus on the impact of sex purchase bans on sex workers in Northern Ireland and Ireland.
I'm working towards my PhD under the supervision of Dr Laura Graham, Professor Nicola Wake, and Dr Adam Jackson at Northumbria University.
