The Faculty of Business, Law and Tourism is home to Sunderland Business School and Sunderland Law School, with key areas of teaching including business and management, hospitality and events, aviation and tourism, and law.
The Faculty of Education and Society is professional, vocational and practice-based, with key areas of teaching including initial and post qualifying teacher training, subjects within the social sciences, and courses relating to crime, policing, and investigation.
The Faculty of Health Sciences and Wellbeing continues to benefit from a multi-million pound investment scheme of laboratory modernisation and the development of cutting-edge teaching and research facilities, allied to the provision of clinical-based courses.

The Faculty of Technology brings together the School of Computer Science and the School of Engineering (which includes Automotive and Manufacturing Advanced Practice (AMAP)) across a spectrum of subjects and disciplines aligned to the technological needs and requirements of today. Our key areas of teaching cover a wide variety of subjects aligned to computer science and engineering.
